Role overview
We’re looking for a Video Editor Intern to help us turn raw footage and ideas into scroll-stopping content. You’ll edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and our own brand. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work on real projects, get mentorship from an experienced video editing team, and build a portfolio of published work. It’s ideal for a final-year student or recent graduate who loves editing and wants to grow fast.
Key responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Cut and assemble promotional videos, marketing campaign content, and event highlight reels.
- Sync audio, add music, sound effects, captions, and subtitles.
- Apply color correction and basic grading for a consistent, polished look.
- Add simple motion graphics, titles, lower-thirds, and text animation.
- Follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across deliverables.
- Manage project files, versions, and exports in the correct format for each platform.
- Take feedback well and turn around revisions quickly.
- Keep up with content trends, formats, and what’s currently performing on each platform.
Required qualifications
- Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, or a recent graduate.
- Working knowledge of at least one editing tool: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- A portfolio, reel, or set of sample edits (personal projects are welcome).
- A good sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a brief.
- Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience editing for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar).
- Sound design and audio mixing ability.
- Familiarity with captioning/subtitle tools and trends.
- Understanding of what makes content go viral.
- Comfort with AI video or content tools is a plus (Higgsfield, Seedance).
