Overview

Peacock Drivers gives foreign travelers in Sri Lanka the thing the fragmented driver market never could — trust. Bespoke drivers, concierge service, tours that feel designed rather than improvised. We built the identity from zero and the product that runs it: a trip engine where travelers design their own day-by-day journey across the island, route it on live maps, and book it in one flow.

The challenge

Sri Lanka is one of the most rewarding places on earth to travel — and one of the hardest to arrange from the outside. The driver-and-tour market is fragmented, informal, and impossible for a foreign visitor to assess for trust. Who's reliable? Who'll actually show up at the airport? Whose "custom tour" is real and whose is a stock itinerary?

Peacock wanted to be the answer to all of that: a single, trustworthy brand offering bespoke drivers and concierge-grade tours. But trust can't just be claimed in a tagline. It has to be engineered into every touchpoint — the way the brand looks, the way the booking feels, the certainty that the itinerary you built is the itinerary you'll get.

The approach

We built Peacock as a complete thing — a brand that signals reliability on sight, and a product that proves it the moment you start planning. The centrepiece is a trip engine that turns the most intimidating part of travel — building a multi-day itinerary in a country you don't know — into something a traveler can do themselves, confidently, in an afternoon.

  1. 01

    An identity that signals reliability

Built the full brand from zero: the Peacock mark, the deep-emerald system, the livery and applications. The look had to do the hardest job in travel branding — make a foreign visitor feel safe handing over their trip — before a single word is read.

  2. 02

A trip engine that builds itself

Travelers build a day-by-day itinerary, drag to reorder stops (@dnd-kit), and watch it route live across two mapping systems — Mapbox GL for the journey, Google Places for real Sri Lankan hotels and pickup points. Add any destination and the engine assembles the trip around it. Airport transfers slot into the same flow, Stripe's inline checkout means you pay without leaving the page, and you leave with a generated PDF itinerary. Under the hood: React on Vite, an Express API on Postgres with Drizzle, JWT auth, Resend for confirmations.

  3. 03

    Brand and product, one sprint

The confidence the brand promises and the confidence the product delivers were designed together — so the trust the logo signals is the same trust the booking flow earns.

“We didn't want to look like another driver listing. Artyreal gave us a brand foreign travelers trust on sight — and a booking engine that backs it up. People build their own Sri Lankan tour and book it in one sitting. ”

The outcome

A complete brand and a genuinely sophisticated travel product, live and taking bookings — travelers build their own Sri Lankan tour and book it in one sitting.
